This sample pack contains a selection of different weights to find the best for your airgun. Containing 30gr, 34gr, 36gr, 38gr, 40gr. (Also available in .218 sold separately).
The H&N Slug Heavy sets new standards in terms of accuracy at distances way beyond 50 meters.
A superb BC ensures a flat trajectory and excellent energy retention.
Slug Heavy is coated with a special lubricant to reduce barrel friction.
Minimum muzzle energy should be 25 Joules but we recommend a muzzle energy of 40 - 60 Joules for good results.
Barrels with a shorter twist rate and specifically made for Slugs produce significantly better results.

The H&N Heavy Slug expands the weight range in calibre .22 and is designed for long-range hunting and target shooting with high-power airguns. The most important feature is a new hollow point design with a large meplat combined with soft lead. It provides maximum expansion and energy transfer after impact - for a quick and humane kill. The Heavy Slug was developed and tested in close collaboration with Air Hunter Gerhard, a renowned expert in airgun hunting and competitive shooting.Please note: If we send these to you by post they will get knocked around during transit. Although they will be packaged correctly, being made of soft lead, some pellets could be scuffed or misshapen. We do not refund or compensate for postal damage.
